We are carefully monitoring the situation around COVID-19 and are following the necessary policies and procedures to keep you and your family safe.

What precautions are being taken in regard to COVID-19 in order to maximize the safety of customers, employees and all of their families?

Shopping online is available 365 days a year at thechristmasranch.com.

We are committed to following all applicable CDC guidelines including but not limited to the following:

  • Temperature checks will be required for all employees and patrons at the time of entry into any of our buildings. Anyone with a temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher will be required to reschedule their visit. Anyone participating only in the drive-thru experience will not be required to have temperature checks.
  • Masks will be required to be worn whenever anyone is entering a building or where social distancing is unattainable. Children 5 and under are presently not required to wear masks.
  • Social distancing — We ask that you remain 6 feet apart at all times.
  • Hand washing — We ask that you often wash your hands for at least 20 seconds.
  • Sanitizing — Sanitizing stations will be located throughout the village and in the handicapped-accessible restrooms located on the side of Santa’s Bakery & Café.
  • Frequently touched surfaces will be routinely cleaned and sanitized by employees of The Christmas Ranch.
  • All employees are required to wear masks and gloves at all times.
  • If you or any member of your family is “not feeling well,” please schedule another time when “all is well.”
  • All dining will be “outdoor only” in front of Santa’s Bakery & Café. Food service will be provided at the walk-up windows outside Santa’s Bakery & Café as well as by a food truck located in the same area of the village. Outdoor seating will be available while “socially distancing.”
  • All financial transactions will be “touchless” by credit card only.

How do I visit with Santa and have my picture taken with him?

Pictures with Santa will be provided in the Reindeer Room, which may be accessed via the parking lot from the village drive-thru experience. Masks will be required to be worn whenever anyone is in the Reindeer Room with the possible exception of visiting with Santa or having photos taken with Santa.

The determination of whether or not a mask will be worn at the time of interaction with Santa will be “safety focused” and decided by mutual agreement between Santa and the patron.

Barriers will be present to permit Santa and the children to be in visual contact, but physical contact will not be possible. Barriers will also be present when checking out and viewing your photographs. Masks and gloves will be worn by all photo employees.

Santa will be here every night of the week from 11-20-20 thru 12-23-20 except Thanksgiving (closed for the day to be with family).

On Christmas Eve, Santa will be leaving for the North Pole to gather up all of the toys and fire up the reindeer for the big flight.

You may enter the Reindeer Room and visit with Santa at no charge. Photos with Santa are taken by a professional team, and affordable photo packages are available.

Children 5 and under are presently not required to wear masks.

How can I purchase tickets?

Tickets are available only online at thechristmasranch.com. You will be able to reserve a date and an approximate time frame for your arrival. This should help to facilitate a more even flow of traffic and patrons throughout the evening, keeping a focus on the safety of everyone. We understand that traffic and weather can certainly influence schedules, and we will be flexible in this regard.

What types of payment do you accept?

In the interest of safety, we will only accept credit card payments for all items offered at The Christmas Ranch. This will include admission fees, food, beverages, photos with Santa and merchandise from the shops. We accept Visa®, MasterCard®, Discover® and American Express.

Is this a Drive-thru or Walk-thru experience?

Previously, we have offered only a walk-thru experience. This year, in the interest of the safety of everyone, we have chosen to offer a combination drive-thru and walk-thru experience. When you arrive at the welcome center in your vehicle, you will present your electronic ticket. Here, you will also be able to pick up your preordered hot chocolate and chocolate chip cookies, which you selected with your ticket. You may also purchase additional hot chocolate or chocolate chip cookies at this time.

After leaving the welcome center, you will be directed to drive thru our light display throughout the village. Your journey will also include an opportunity to exit the drive-thru and park in our parking lot behind The Reindeer Room.

From there, you may enter the Reindeer Room, visit with Santa and walk to our shops, including Christmas Memories and Home for Christmas as well as our Animated Forest.

Our pathway will direct you to our food service and outdoor dining area. Mrs. Claus has been busy creating all kinds of goodies including pizza, funnel cakes, pretzels with cheese, hot chocolate, coffee, bottled water and sodas. The elves have been busy as well with our food truck, preparing chicken, hamburgers, french fries and other hot food items.

Please understand that there may be delays entering The Christmas Ranch as a result of capacity restrictions that we are required to follow this year. Please keep in mind The Christmas Ranch is in fact a “ranch” and you will encounter areas that are less than ideal as you walk between our shops as well as our outdoor dining area. If you do choose to leave your vehicle, we would like to remind you to wear a mask and dress accordingly and that your footwear should reflect the conditions that you may experience.

Will all shops and attractions be open this year?

In an effort to be safe and yet celebrate the season, The Reindeer Room, Christmas Memories, Home for Christmas, The Animated Forest, Santa’s Bakery & Café (walk-up windows only), and the outdoor dining area and food truck will all be available.

All other shops and Santa’s North Pole Home as well as The Nativity will be visible during your drive-thru experience.

Train rides and wagon rides will not be available due to COVID-19 safety concerns.

What is your cancellation policy?

It is not our policy to permit refunds. In the event that you are unable to attend after purchasing a ticket, please contact us at 513-444-9362 to reschedule. We will make all reasonable attempts to reschedule your visit. In the event that we have closed The Christmas Ranch for any reason, including but not limited to inclement weather, power outages or governmental regulations, we will make all reasonable attempts to reschedule your visit.
